Deluxe Flat Pack Container House

This is a premium modular flat-pack container house designed to provide a residential-level living experience. It features 75mm thick rock wool insulation panels combined with double-layer hollow glass windows, delivering significantly improved thermal insulation and soundproofing performance compared with standard models.
Inside, the walls are lined with matte white MDF panels — clean, modern, and surprisingly close to what you would find in a regular house. You still get all the flat-pack perks: compact shipping, lower freight costs, quick setup — but this upgraded version is noticeably more comfortable and livable day to day.
It works really well as a prefab home, Airbnb unit, vacation cabin, guest house, or a long-term ADU in the backyard.

Product Description

The Deluxe Flat Pack Container House takes the flat-pack concept and upgrades it with residential-grade finishes and better insulation. It still ships folded nice and tight - only 570mm thick when packed - so you get all the shipping savings of a standard unit, but the end result feels way more like a real home.

What sets it apart is the 75mm rock wool core in the walls - a big step up from the standard 50mm EPS. Thermal performance hits around R-16, and sound insulation is STC 45. Pair that with double-glazed Low-E windows and you have a unit that actually works year-round, even in places with real winters or sticky summers.

Heavy-Duty Galvanized Frame

Hot-dip galvanized steel frame with a thick zinc layer - built to handle coastal air and humid climates without rusting out.

Main frame is 2.0mm galvanized steel, same solid construction as our standard model, just with better everything around it.

Under normal use, you are looking at 20+ years of structural life. The corrosion resistance alone is rated for 25 years in coastal conditions.

75mm Rock Wool Insulated Walls

75mm thick rock wool sandwich panels with 0.25mm galvanized steel on both faces.

Inner side is smooth finished, outer side has the textured orange-peel skin for extra rigidity.

R-value roughly 16 - significantly better than standard 50mm panels. Sound transmission class around STC 45, so conversations stay inside.

Finished Interior Walls

9mm moisture-resistant MDF boards line the inside, pre-painted in matte white.

Looks and feels like regular drywall, not the typical metal-panel container vibe.

Easy to hang pictures or shelves if you want to personalize the space later.

18mm structural plywood base on steel crossbeams, rated for 2.5 kN/m² live load.

Finished with luxury vinyl tile that looks like oak hardwood - much nicer than basic PVC.

How are they transported and installed?

The Deluxe Flat Pack Container House ships flat, just like our standard model - roof, floor, walls, columns, doors, windows and all fittings are prefabricated in the factory and bundled together for transport.

Site prep is straightforward: a level concrete or gravel foundation is all you need. After delivery and unloading, two experienced installers can complete assembly of a single unit in approximately 6 to 8 hours using the provided construction drawings. Compared to the standard model, assembly time is somewhat longer due to the additional insulation layers and interior finishing - though the resulting improvement in occupant comfort is well worth it.

Because nearly all fabrication happens in the factory, on-site coordination stays simple and deployment of multiple units can proceed at a good pace.

It works well for hospitality projects, residential ADUs, and premium workforce housing where quality of finish matters.

Q: Are you a factory or a trading company?

A: We are the actual manufacturer. Everything is built in our own facility, no middleman markup.

Q: What is the lead time?

A: Stock units usually ship in 10 to 20 days. Custom orders or larger quantities take 20 to 35 days, depending on specs and volume.

Q: Can I get a sample? Do I pay for it?

A: We can send a sample unit at no cost for the unit itself - you just cover the freight to your location.

Q: How does payment work?

A: Standard terms are 30% deposit to start production, and the remaining 70% before the goods leave the factory.

Q: Is the bathroom fully plumbed with fixtures?

A: The deluxe package includes the rough-in plumbing - drain lines for toilet, shower and sink are pre-installed. You supply and connect the actual fixtures (toilet, shower head, sink) on site. We can also quote a full fixture package if you want one.

Q: Can I customize the layout or add a kitchen?
