30ft Sloped Roof Prefab House

The ground floor is 9m × 6.22m, covering 21.6 sq.m. A pull-down stair leads to the attic with another 18 sq.m space, yet enough standing room only exists in the middle 2.5m width of the attic.

The ground floor includes two bedrooms (3m × 2.4m each), one living room (3m × 2.4m). A kitchen and bathroom, both 2.4m × 2.4m, are set at the end of the unit.

Outer walls adopt cedar grain metal sheets with six wood colors for choice. The roof uses asphalt shingles in slate gray or cedar brown. Walls are built with 100mm steel keels filled with R-22 rock wool insulation, and inner walls are covered with 12mm drywall coated with smooth paint.

The complete bathroom is fitted with a soaking tub and separate shower area. The kitchen has solid wood cabinets, artificial marble countertops and stainless steel sinks. A flue pipe is pre-installed in the living room to fit a wood stove. Two dormer windows are on the attic. Buyers can decorate the attic themselves, or place custom orders to turn it into a third bedroom or small media room.

This house needs concrete foundation or basement for long-term use. Its total height reaches 4.5m due to the high roof, so special low flat trailers and pre-planned shipping routes are required to avoid height limits. It looks like a traditional country house with no obvious container features. It meets US IRC housing standards and supports regular home loans. It fits small families that want unique, energy-saving houses. The sloped roof is convenient to install solar heating tubes and solar panels, much better than ordinary rectangular flat pack containers.
