Product Description

Unlike fully finished container homes with complete interior decor, our 20ft empty expandable container house is supplied as a bare structural shell without any furniture or sanitary ware. The stretch-out bilateral wings expand on-site to form a full 37㎡ blank open space, while folding compactly to reduce shipping volume for overseas transport.

All steel frames, wall boards, roof panels, door frames and window frames are prefabricated and pre-drilled in our factory. No on-site cutting or welding is required. The whole structure passes wind, water and seismic testing, and can be placed on simple flat concrete or gravel ground for both short and long-term projects.

Heavy-Duty Galvanized Steel Frame

The entire main frame and two wing frames are built from thick galvanized steel profiles to resist rust in wet, coastal and high-humidity environments.

● Main frame: 80802.5mm square tubes for top and side beams; 801402.75mm square tubes for bottom load-bearing beams; 2.0mm bent steel sheets for end frames and vertical support columns.

● Wing frame: 40801.5mm P-shaped tubes and square tubes for upper sections; 60801.5mm square tubes for bottom wing frames, matched with 130mm galvanized folding hinges for smooth expansion and retraction.

● All metal surfaces are treated with electrostatic plastic spraying and high-temperature baking paint. The frame can serve for around 15 years under regular outdoor exposure.

Complete Insulated Wall & Roof Shell

The empty unit comes fully equipped with insulated wall and roof panels, only without interior decorative furniture.

● Outer roof: 950-type 50mm EPS sandwich panels with double-sided 0.3mm color steel plus 0.4mm corrugated sheet, adopting a 360° interlocking design to block rain penetration.

● Ceiling: Matching 50mm thick EPS color steel ceiling panels for basic heat insulation.

● Wall system: 65mm thick EPS outer wall boards; 50mm EPS partition panels reserved for self-install room dividers, with STC 35 sound insulation performance.

Simple & Fast On-Site Assembly

Only level compact gravel or concrete ground is needed as the base. All fabrication work is completed in our factory before shipment. Every empty shell set includes pre-punched bolt holes and pre-mounted door/window frames, plus full sealing accessories. A crane or forklift is needed to unload; 2–3 workers with ordinary hand tools can finish unfolding and full assembly within 3–4 hours. All panel joints are fitted with rubber sealing strips and matching structural glue, so no extra waterproof treatment is needed after setup.

Reinforced Bare Floor Shell

The floor structure is built with high-strength fireproof base materials, delivered without finished floor decor for self-upgrade.

● Base floor board: 18mm magnesium oxide fireproof board, stable and fire resistant.

● Reserved surface space for buyers to lay their own wood flooring, tile or commercial floor covering.

● Floor live load rating: 2.5 kN per square meter, suitable for long-term storage, office and residential use after self-fit-out.

Standard Shell Fixtures (No Interior Furnishings)

● Entrance frame: Pre-installed 840*2035mm steel door frame (door can be purchased and installed separately by buyers).

● Window frames: Four 930*930mm plastic steel window frames with screen slots, windows available as optional add-ons.

● Internal space: Blank open layout without fixed partitions; customers can freely divide single rooms, multi-bedroom layouts, kitchen and bathroom zones according to their own plans.

● Space capacity: The full 37㎡ blank space can accommodate 2–4 people after self-decoration.

Reserved Empty Electrical Chassis

We pre-lay full moisture-proof wire channels inside the shell, without fitted lamps, sockets or breakers for independent wiring customization.

● Reserved standard wire route for 220V/50Hz power; we can adjust wire channel layout to fit 110V/60Hz and other regional voltage standards.

● Pre-set wire trenches for main incoming line (6mm²), air conditioning circuit (4mm²), ordinary socket circuit (2.5mm²) and lighting circuit (1.5mm²).

● Standard reserved power load: 12KW, buyers can upgrade circuit components locally as needed.
