Stackable Fast Assemble Container House

Stackable Fast Assemble Container House

Fast-assemble unit with stacking capability — up to four high. Same hinge-fold system, reinforced corners and frame, interlocking stacking pins. Includes a floor opening and roof hatch for easy vertical access between levels. Perfect for worker dorms, barracks, student housing and other high-density temporary builds that need to go up fast.

Features

Product Description

The Stackable Fast Assemble Container House is built for when you need vertical capacity along with fast deployment. It uses the same quick-fold hinge mechanism as our standard fast-assemble model, but adds reinforced 10mm steel corner castings and interlocking stacking pins so you can safely go up to four units high.

Each unit unfolds to 6m × 2.4m with 14.4 square meters of floor space - bigger than the standard fast-assemble unit, and designed to work as a multi-story system. For worker housing, barracks, student dorms or anywhere you need density without a months-long build, this model gets you there in days.

Product Details

01/

Stack Up to Four Units High

Reinforced 10mm thick steel corner castings at all four corners.

Interlocking stacking pins lock each layer into the one below - no slipping, no lateral movement.

Rated for safe stacking of four units vertically. Engineering calculations included for wind and snow loads.

02/

Same Fast Hinge-Fold Setup

Floor, walls and roof stay connected on heavy-duty hinges - unfold and latch, no loose parts.

Single unit assembly takes roughly 90 minutes with two people.

Stacking a second unit on top adds about 30 more minutes, using a manual winch or a small crane.

03/

Heavy-Duty Galvanized Frame

3mm thick galvanized steel C-sections at every corner and edge - significantly beefier than the standard model.

Extra cross-bracing built in for seismic performance. Tested to Zone 4 earthquake standards.

Built to handle the structural loads of multi-story stacking without flexing or twisting.

04/

50mm PU Sandwich Wall Panels

50mm thick polyurethane foam core between 0.5mm steel skins on both sides.

Thermal R-value of about 18 - decent insulation for year-round use in most climates.

Panels also contribute good structural shear strength to the overall building.

05/

Built-In Floor Opening & Roof Hatch

800mm × 800mm floor opening with a removable cover, pre-installed in every unit.

Matching roof hatch on the top side for upper-level units.

Lets you run an internal staircase or ladder between floors without cutting into the structure on site.

06/

Pre-Drilled Vertical Conduits

Corner posts have pre-drilled conduit channels for running electrical and data cables between floors.

Rubber gaskets seal each floor connection point - keeps water from seeping down through the cable runs.

Makes wiring a multi-unit stack much cleaner than drilling holes on site.

07/

Standard Interior Package

Two double-glazed windows per unit.

One steel entry door.

Four-outlet electrical circuit - one outlet per wall - plus two LED ceiling lights.

18mm structural plywood floor with a non-slip PVC coating on top.

08/

Designed for Repeated Assembly Cycles

Every unit is built to be taken apart and reused multiple times.

Stacking pin connections maintain their clamping force for at least 10 assembly cycles.

Great for projects that move from site to site, or short-term deployments that get packed up afterward.

Customer Cases

A large construction firm running a major infrastructure project used two stacks of these - three units high each - to house on-site management and engineering staff. They went from empty lot to a two-block, six-unit residential compound in less than a week, and the whole thing came apart cleanly when the project wrapped up six months later.

We have also supplied border security agencies with four-high stacks used as observation towers and barracks. The reinforced frame and seismic bracing give them confidence in high-wind locations, and the pre-drilled vertical conduits made running security and communications cabling between floors straightforward. A university client uses them as overflow student housing during peak enrollment semesters - stacked two high and disassembled for storage when not needed.

How are they transported and installed?

The Stackable Fast Assemble Container House ships folded flat, just like the standard fast-assemble model. The reinforced corners add some weight - each unit is 950 kg - but the footprint stays compact enough for efficient container loading.

On site, start with a level, compacted foundation or concrete pad. Two workers unfold each unit in about 90 minutes using the hinge system. To stack, you lift the next unit with a small crane or manual winch, lower it onto the stacking pins of the unit below, and lock it in. Each additional layer adds roughly 30 minutes of work. Because the floor opening and roof hatch are already there, adding a ladder or staircase between floors is simple - no cutting or drilling required.

The pre-drilled conduits in the corner posts mean you can run all your electrical and data cables vertically through the structure without drilling holes on site. Rubber gaskets at each floor connection keep the cable runs watertight.

Why Choose Us?

A lot of fast-assemble units claim to be stackable, but most of them are just standard units with a sticker on the box - the corners are not reinforced, and there is no real engineering behind the load path. Our stackable line is designed from the ground up for multi-story use: 10mm steel castings at every corner, 3mm C-section frame members, cross bracing, and proper load calculations for wind and snow.

If you can make the trip, come see the factory and watch a stacking test. We will put two units together, stack them, and show you how the pins lock in and how the load transfers through the corners. It is easier to trust the system once you have seen it in person.

Quick facts about us:

  • Most visiting distributors place an order after the factory tour
  • High repeat rate from construction and government clients
  • 46,000 sqm production facility
  • Annual capacity around 3,000 units across all models

FAQ

Q: Are these actually designed for stacking, or is it just a standard unit marketed as stackable?

A: They are designed for stacking from the start. Every corner has a 10mm steel casting, the frame uses 3mm C-sections, and we provide full engineering calculations for wind and snow loads at four stories high. This is not a standard unit with an add-on kit.

Q: What is the lead time for an order?

A: Stock units typically ship in 10 to 20 days. Larger custom orders take 20 to 35 days, depending on quantity and any modifications you need.

Q: Do you offer samples? How does that work?

A: We can send a sample unit. The unit itself is free of charge - you cover the shipping cost to your location.

Q: What are the payment terms?

A: 30% deposit to start production, remaining 70% before the order ships.

Q: Do I need a crane to stack them?

A: You need some way to lift the upper unit - either a small crane, a forklift, or a manual winch setup. Each unit weighs 950 kg, so you cannot do it by hand. Stacking adds about 30 minutes per unit once you have the lifting equipment ready.

Q: Can I put a real staircase between floors, or only a ladder?

A: Both work. The 800mm × 800mm floor opening is sized for a ladder or a compact ship-style staircase. If you need a full residential staircase, you would need to modify the opening on site - most clients just use ladders for temporary worker housing, which is what the system is primarily designed for.
