Service Life of Quick-Assembly Containers
Material Quality: Prefabricated containers made with high-quality steel and color-coated steel composite panels, featuring high-strength steel with good corrosion resistance and color-coated steel panels with excellent thermal insulation and waterproofing properties, have a relatively long service life, reaching 15-20 years or even longer. In contrast, poor-quality materials may lead to serious rust and deformation within 10-15 years, affecting usability.
Usage Environment: Prefabricated containers used in dry, low-wind, sandy, and non-corrosive environments have a longer service life. However, in humid, high-salinity coastal areas or corrosive environments with chemical pollution, the metal components are prone to rust and corrosion, shortening their service life to possibly 10-15 years. Furthermore, prolonged exposure to harsh weather conditions such as strong winds, heavy rain, and blizzards can also damage the structure of the prefabricated container, affecting its lifespan.
Installation Quality: Professional installation follows standardized specifications, ensuring secure connections and excellent sealing of all components. This guarantees structural stability and airtightness, ensuring the expected service life. However, issues such as loose screws or poorly joined panels during installation can lead to loose connections and leaks during use, reducing the service life to 10-15 years.
Usage Frequency and Maintenance: Prefabricated modular units with low usage frequency, regular inspection and maintenance, timely anti-corrosion treatment of rusted areas, and replacement of damaged parts can have a service life approaching or reaching 20 years. Frequent disassembly and use without proper maintenance may render the unit unusable within 10-15 years.
