How Long is the Lifespan of a Space Capsule

The lifespan of a space capsule varies considerably depending on factors such as materials, environment, and maintenance, generally ranging from 10 to 50 years.

Materials and Manufacturing Processes: Using high-quality alloys, fiberglass, and other durable materials, combined with advanced manufacturing processes, results in a robust structure and a lifespan of 30-50 years. If the materials are ordinary and the manufacturing process is rough, the lifespan may be only 10-20 years.

Usage Environment: In dry areas with suitable temperature and humidity, free from strong winds, earthquakes, and other disasters, the lifespan is long. In coastal areas with high humidity and corrosion, or areas frequently affected by severe weather, materials are easily damaged, reducing the lifespan to 20-30 years.
